If you are an experienced, adaptable Legal Assistant with 3+ years in a law firm environment and are seeking long-term career growth, we want to connect with you!Essential Job Duties:Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings and travel, and provide general office supportPrepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detailTrack attorney time, assist with monthly billing, and set up new clients and matters in the billing systemCalculate and calendar court deadlines; file pleadings in state, federal, and appellate courtsMaintain organized electronic and physical filing systemsCommunicate with court staff and stay current on court rules and proceduresAssist attorneys with legal research and case-related supportMinimum RequirementsMinimum of 2 years’ experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant within a professional law firm.Previous litigation support experience highly preferredPrevious experience with bankruptcy and credit remedyStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal billing and document management systems preferred.Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-paced, professional setting.Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule:Direct-hire opportunity with highly comprehensive and competitive benefits package includedPosition is 80% onsite, offering 1-day remote flexibility 90-day probationary period is completedPay ranges from $48,000 to $91,000 annually.
