Morgan Corp. is currently searching for a Legal Assistant.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our in-house counsel team. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in key software tools, and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to in-house counsel
- Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Manage and organize legal files, contracts, and corporate records
- Assist with contract tracking, renewals, and compliance documentationCoordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain calendars
- Conduct basic legal and business research as needed
- Maintain document management systems and ensure proper version control
- Support internal stakeholders with legal-related requests
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a legal assistant, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
