Diaz Anselmo & Associates P.A. is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to support our Foreclosure Sales and Post-Sale team.

The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing cases from sale scheduling through post-sale completion. You will handle essential milestones in the sales process, file foreclosure documents, coordinate with courts and auctioneers, and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of Legal Assistant experience, ideally within foreclosure, real estate, or default servicing law.
• Exceptional attention to detail and elite organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales Preparation & Filing: Prepare, review, and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and sale confirmations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with courts, sheriffs, master commissioners, auctioneers, vendors, and external clients.
• Deadline Management: Monitor fast-moving foreclosure sale timelines to ensure every legal requirement is met on schedule.
• Legal & Public Records Research: Conduct bankruptcy checks, military status verifications, and property-specific research (including legal descriptions, tax records, and liens).
• Post-Sale Management: Handle all post-sale activities, such as deed preparation, surplus fund processing, and confirmation filings.
• Case Maintenance: Keep the firm’s case management system and client portals updated, provide administrative and e-filing support to attorneys.

What You’ll Do

As an integral part of our foreclosure team, you will manage vital milestones in the sales process, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to timelines.

• Sales Preparation & Filing: Prepare, review, and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and sale confirmations.
