Job description

Law firm is currently hiring a remote Legal Assistant. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with the ability to work from home. Regular opportunities for pay increases and promotions are available.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a Litigation Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or Legal Assistant. Applicants must be mature and reliable. This demanding role requires a minimum of one year of legal support experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal secretary.

The Legal Assistant will support a busy Attorney and his Paralegal. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings, subpoenas, notices, and requests for production; coordinating and scheduling meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions; managing deadlines; preparing attorneys for appointments; drafting demand letters; and handling routine correspondence.
