Job description

Your legal or financial services experience could be a great fit here.

Family Estate Planning Law Group is looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal with 1–2 years of experience who enjoys working directly with people, staying organized, and making sure important details don’t fall through the cracks.

You don’t need to have years of estate planning experience. If you have 1–2 years as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, we’ll teach you the estate planning side. Candidates with wealth management or financial planning experience may also be a strong fit, especially if you’re comfortable working with financial documents, managing details, and communicating with clients and professional advisors.

In this role, you’ll help clients make sure their assets are properly aligned with their estate plans, working alongside attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs, and financial institutions. You’ll have meaningful client interaction while building expertise in estate planning and trust administration.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Work directly with clients to gather financial information and documentation
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and institutions
  • Track assets and documents using spreadsheets and cloud-based systems
  • Assist with deeds, real estate transfers, trusts, and other estate-planning documents
  • Prepare for client meetings and manage follow-up
  • Keep projects moving with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Help improve processes and create a seamless client experience
What we’re looking for:
  • 1–2 years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience
  • Estate planning or financial planning experience is a plus—not a requirement
  • Wealth management or financial services experience may be a strong alternative
  • Strong client communication and follow-through
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new terminology, technology, and systems
  • Professional, proactive, and collaborative
Why this opportunity?
  • You’ll do more than provide administrative support. You’ll work directly with clients and professionals and develop specialized expertise in estate planning, trusts, and asset alignment, while joining a collaborative team that values growth, accountability, and exceptional client service.
