LHH in Irvine, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in all phases of complex litigation. This on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree and a passion for legal technology, process improvements, and AI tools to streamline workflows.
You will manage case files, calendar deadlines, prepare and file pleadings, coordinate e-filings, and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and admin teams to move cases forward efficiently.
Location: Irvine, CA (fully on-site)
Compensation: $85K - $110K DOE
A growing litigation firm is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in all phases of complex litigation. This role is ideal for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and a strong interest in leveraging legal technology, process improvement, and emerging AI tools within a fast-paced law firm environment.
Support attorneys with case management, document organization, filing, calendaring, and deadline tracking.
Prepare, format, proofread, and file pleadings, discovery, and litigation-related documents.
Coordinate electronic filings in state and federal courts.
Manage matter files, document databases, and records utilizing platforms such as iManage and other legal operations technologies.
Assist with technology-driven initiatives, workflow improvements, and adoption of emerging legal AI tools.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative teams to ensure efficient case progression.
Bachelor's degree required.
Prior litigation support, legal assistant, or related law firm experience preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology platforms such as iManage, NetDocuments, Relativity, Litify, Clio, or similar tools.
Exposure to legal operations technology, automation tools, or AI-related certifications/training is highly desirable.
Demonstrated adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new technology and improving legal workflows.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
