Job summary

Appen is seeking a leader to own the success of frontier legal AI pilots, translating emerging use cases into validated projects meeting defined standards for quality, feasibility, and cost.

You will establish workflows, expert requirements, quality standards, and the blueprint needed to move pilots into scalable programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure practical, compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree with 2+ years in private practice, in-house, legal research, or regulatory and compliance work.
• 2+ years leading complex projects, operational workflows, or subject-matter initiatives, plus strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
