Job summary
Mercor is seeking an experienced lawyer to evaluate AI-generated legal memoranda, contracts, and case analyses for quality and accuracy. The role involves comparing AI outputs with legal reasoning, precedent, and drafting rigor, and providing expert feedback on litigation strategy and interpretation.
You will work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while helping improve AI systems, with strong written English required and immediate start.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Lawyer, Attorney, Counsel, General Counsel, Prosecutor, or similar.
- Experience representing clients in criminal and/or civil proceedings.
- Experience drafting legal documents or advising on legal transactions.
- Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
- Strong written English communication skills.

Compensation: $70–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 4–6 weeks
Commitment: 20+ hours/week
