Qualifications

  • Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level.
  • Education: One year of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a related degree.
  • Superior Academic Achievement criteria for qualifying education.
  • Foreign Education note: evaluation and English translation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and organize complex factual material for investigations and trials.
  • Prepare subpoenas, requests, and other legal documents.
  • Provide advice on preparing legal documents efficiently.
  • Develop and enter case material into a computer database.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and exhibits for trial.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Graduate education in legal studies, law, or criminal justice
