Position Overview

Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Indianapolis, IN location to support multiple attorneys and paralegals in commercial litigation.

Responsibilities
  1. File and client management, formatting, proofreading and editing documents, electronic filings, time entry, expense reimbursements, travel arrangements, and other administrative support.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3-5 years of recent legal administrative support experience in litigation.
  • Ability to effectively report to multiple attorneys.
  • Exposure to or interest in Environmental, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Litigation, and TORT practice areas.
  • Strong communication skills with staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, .pdf editing, and legal software.
  • Experience with E-filing (federal and state).
  • Experience with attorney timekeeping software and document management systems.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, high energy, and technologically proficient.
