We are a small White Plains law firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an in-office role supporting attorneys with a mix of legal and general administrative tasks. We offer a collegial work environment and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and filings

  • File legal documents with courts (electronic and paper filing)

  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and track deadlines

  • Answer phones, manage emails, and communicate with clients

  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic files

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a small office

Schedule:
Full-time, or part-time considered
Office Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
