Our client, a leading international bank, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Legal Department supporting a visually impaired Assistant General Counsel. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 remote)

Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Provide heavy reading assistance and support in editing and creating legal documents.
  • Track the status of legal matters and maintain relevant databases.
  • Perform basic administrative support tasks including calendar management and phone handling.
  • Conduct legal research and assist in work organization and management.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects as needed to support the Legal Department.

What's Needed?

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a corporate legal department, law firm, or related industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of legal customs and practices, along with project administration skills.
