Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, nonprofit management, communications or related field.
• Minimum of five years in planned/legacy giving or related field with success in securing complex gifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead planned and legacy giving strategy aligned with fundraising priorities.
• Create campaigns and donor outreach to raise awareness and participation in planned giving.
• Build and grow a pipeline of donors and prospects for planned and legacy gifts.
• Use donor data, history and wealth insights to move prospects through the pipeline.
• Cultivate relationships with attorneys, financial advisors, and estate planners to facilitate gifts.
• Monitor revenue, pipeline growth and gift intentions to inform decisions.
• Represent the organization at donor meetings and events.
• Manage a portfolio of planned giving donors with tailored stewardship plans.
• Engage families and influencers to strengthen donor relationships and multigenerational giving.
