Legacy of St. Michael

Legacy of St. Michael, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our growing team! Located in St. Michael, MN, our community offers 95 units across Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. Join us and help our residents Age Magnificently!

Shifts and Compensation

Full-Time (6am-2pm, every other weekend rotation) or Part-Time (6am-2pm, every other weekend rotation). Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour.

Position Overview

If you are compassionate and passionate about enriching the lives of seniors, we want you! Our Cook/Chef becomes part of our family and impacts our residents' lives positively.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and serve food according to menus, diet plans, recipes, and safety standards.
  2. Assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas and utensils.
  3. Check trays for menu and diet accuracy and preferences.
  4. Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
  5. Review diet changes and ensure menu compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in senior living preferred.
  • Ability to relate professionally and positively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including email.
