Legacy of Delano - On-Call Cook

Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking an On-Call Cook to join our team. Located off Highway 12 in Delano near Coborn's, our community offers 51 units across Assisted Living, Independent, and Memory Care Apartments. We are a growing community with compassionate team members dedicated to helping residents age magnificently.

Shifts Available: Full and Part Time
Wage: $17.50-$22.50/hour

Sign-On Bonus:
Full-Time: $1,000
Part-Time: $500

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and serve meals as per menus, diet plans, and recipes.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas and utensils.
• Verify trays for menu and diet accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
• Manage diet changes and maintain menus accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in senior living preferred.
• Ability to relate professionally and positively with residents, families, and staff.
• Strong computer skills, including email usage.
