Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York is seeking a Technical Architect to lead legacy modernization and migration initiatives for Life70, iSeries/mainframe systems, COBOL, JCL, and related batch architectures.

The role focuses on defining target-state architectures, guiding cross-team decisions, and ensuring risk controls while coordinating onsite and offshore teams in a dynamic technology environment.

Qualifications

• Assess legacy applications and define modernization/migration architecture.
• Document dependencies, interfaces, batch flows and data extraction.
• Design coexistence, remediation and cutover patterns.
• Guide teams through modernization decisions and technical risk controls.

• COBOL, JCL, Mainframe Assembler and batch architecture
• Integration, extraction, coexistence and migration patterns
• Life & Annuity domain and target-state architecture

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 a year
