Excellent communication and teamwork required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sustaining or development of medical devices.
  • Experience with CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Holds a leading role in sustaining activities for legacy product systems, as directed by senior staff.
  • Review and evaluation of product non-conformances for incoming legacy product.
  • Review and evaluation of product complaints.
  • Support regulatory registrations and design history files.
  • Create and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
  • Lead root cause analysis for CAPA development.
  • Update designs and specifications for legacy products.
  • Develop testing protocols for product evaluations.
  • Participate in phase gate design reviews and cross-functional activities.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers and testing houses.
