Meet clients, draft wills and trusts, advise on asset protection, and coordinate probate with professionals. You will build lasting relationships and support clients during challenging times.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in North Carolina or South Carolina (or ability to become licensed quickly).
• Experience in estate planning, elder law, or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills—comfortable guiding sensitive conversations.
• Detail-oriented with sound legal judgment.
• Able to balance empathy with efficiency.
• Growth-minded: committed to learning and refining your craft.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their family dynamics, goals, and concerns.
• Design and implement customized estate and legacy plans.
• Draft wills, trusts, and related planning documents.
• Advise on asset protection and eligibility planning strategies.
• Guide clients through probate and trust administration.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals.
• Build long-term relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.
• Attend court for incompetency and guardianship proceedings.
• Represent clients in will contests (caveats) and beneficiary advocacy.
