Job summary

Megaplex Theatres in Centerville, UT is seeking a Maintenance Team Member (Ages 18+) to maintain the theatre facility, equipment and grounds ensuring safety for staff and guests. This part-time role covers a range of duties across multiple trades including electrical, electronics, painting, HVAC and plumbing.

You will work with theatre staff to keep equipment in good repair, handle quality control of the premises, and support the theatre's mission and guest service values.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED equivalence.
• Experience in electrical, electronics, painting, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Building maintenance background and service experience preferred.
• Proficient in computer programming, systems, and interfacing equipment.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for ensuring the facility, equipment, and grounds of the theatre are maintained to a good and proper working order. He or she works to ensure the safety of associates and guests of Megaplex Theatres. The Maintenance Team Member champions the company’s Mission and Vision and models the company Values.

Primary Duties:

The Maintenance Team Member is a multi-disciplinary position. You'll be expected to:

• Protect the moral, legal and financial assets of the LHM Group of Companies
• Continually teach associates new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on STEWARDSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, and GUEST SERVICE
• Work with all theatre associates to make sure all equipment is in good repair and working condition
• Be responsible for the facility appearance and upkeep, including quality control
• Conduct proper maintenance on all assigned equipment
• Replace lights and filters, as needed
• Conduct seat and equipment repair
• Potentially use personal vehicle for company business. If you agree to using your vehicle, you must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record
• Perform all other tasks as assigned; must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to change

Physical Requirements:

• High levels of stress may be associated with this position
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. unaided
• Use of ladders is required
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including Weekends and Holidays

• Must be able to prioritize tasks and assignments
