Legacy Aerospace Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Are you a Production Supervisor or Lead ready to advance your career? Join our Aerospace team today!

As the Aerospace Transparencies Production Supervisor at PPG's Aerospace division, you will supervise a designated production area, ensuring safety and meeting production schedules. Collaborating with other supervisors and your team, you'll produce critical components for aerospace applications.

This is a second shift role, typically Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

This onsite position is based at our Grand Prairie, TX facility, reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and support your production area, emphasizing safety and risk reduction.
2. Plan daily work, allocate resources, and monitor outcomes.
3. Hire, mentor, and evaluate employees, ensuring adherence to policies.
4. Manage workflow, identify constraints, and implement improvements.
5. Compile and analyze production data and reports.
6. Ensure equipment operates efficiently, coordinate repairs, and evaluate new technology.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee engagement skills.
• Experience with process management, resource planning, and production scheduling.
• Knowledge of Lean, process improvement, and 5S is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship required.
