Lee Health - Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist!

Located near Southwest Florida's beaches, Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility providing vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 135-bed hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. It offers various specialized services, including emergency care, behavioral health, surgery, critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital features a 16-bed PICU and a 70-bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.

Position Description:

Lee Physician Group & Golisano Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Fellowship-trained, Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team. This role involves inpatient and outpatient nephrology services in Fort Myers and two outreach clinics.

Services include acute and chronic kidney replacement therapy, follow-up post-kidney transplant care, inpatient consultations, and dialysis care across all modalities. Outpatient services include general nephrology clinics, dialysis, combined nephrology-urology clinics, and prenatal consultations in collaboration with the maternal-fetal medicine team. Our outpatient support team includes a kidney dietitian, pediatric psychologist, social worker, and other specialists.

The services will complement community pediatricians and family practitioners, and our practices are supported by a strong team-based clinical support system.
