Job summary

Acoufelt specializes in LED lighting integration within acoustic felt products. The LED Lighting Technician assembles, installs, tests, and inspects components, ensuring safety and adherence to specifications.

This role collaborates with Manufacturing, Assembly, and Product teams to deliver reliable lighting systems. Responsibilities include wiring, testing, and troubleshooting while maintaining organized inventory and supporting prototype development.

Qualifications

• Experience with LED lighting, low-voltage electrical systems, electrical assembly, or a related manufacturing field preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, polarity, voltage, and electrical connections.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using multimeters and basic electrical testing equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and assembly issues.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with other manufacturing departments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install LED lighting components into acoustic felt products, including baffles, panels, and other custom products.
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.
• Install LED strips, light fixtures, drivers, connectors, wiring, and related electrical components.
• Perform basic wiring, connections, and component assembly using appropriate hand and electrical tools.
• Test completed lighting assemblies for proper operation, appearance, and functionality before packaging or shipment.
• Troubleshoot LED lighting, wiring, connection, and component issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Verify that lighting components and installation locations match work order and customer requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized wiring and component placement within finished products.
• Identify defective or damaged components and communicate quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain an organized inventory of LED components, wiring, drivers, connectors, and related materials.
• Work with Production teams to develop and improve LED assembly and testing processes.
• Follow all company safety procedures and electrical handling requirements.
• Assist with prototype builds and new LED product development as needed.

Position Summary

The LED Lighting Technician is responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and quality inspection of LED lighting components integrated into acoustic felt products.
