Lecturers, Part-time (Adjunct) Temporary, Graduate Nursing

Baylor University's Louise Herrington School of Nursing is currently seeking candidates for clinical track faculty positions to teach in the online Doctor of Nursing Practice program. The areas of teaching responsibility will vary according to the faculty member's specialty area and specific assignment.

Location: Dallas, Texas or Remote

Start Dates: Fall 2026 (August) and Spring 2027 (January)

Salary: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per 3‑hour didactic course

Qualifications
  • Each nurse faculty member shall: (A) hold a current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse and national certification as an advanced practice registered nurse;
  • (B) show evidence of teaching abilities and maintaining current knowledge, clinical expertise, and safety in subject area of teaching responsibility;
  • (C) hold a MSN or DNP/PhD;
  • (D) nursing degrees must be from accredited institutions;
  • (E) national board certification as an APRN.
Minimum Experience

Must have 2 years of teaching and/or full‑time APRN clinical experience within the last 5 years.
