Job summary

Rutgers University-Camden, the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Biology Department, is seeking lecturers to teach biology courses for the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Spring 2027, and/or Summer 2027 semesters.

Lecturers will present course material during the assigned times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades and coordinate any other requirements related to course instruction, including a written clear syllabus that follows Rutgers policies.

  • Masters degree required for employment.
  • Prior teaching experience in biology is preferred.

The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. A minimum of $2,777 per credit.

Lab safety/Biosafety/Blood Born Pathogens (PPB) training is required for all instructors hired to teach biology laboratory courses.
