The College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Visual Arts for temporary, non-tenure track appointments. Appointments are part-time (<50%) and will be made semester-by-semester.

The position is responsible for teaching Visual Arts courses; the exact courses taught depend on need at the time of hire and may be offered in person or online. This posting is to create a pool of applicants for future needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching Visual Arts at the college level is preferred.

Salary/Pay Range : $1,300 per credit hour. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.

This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Work Location : Determined by course modality: On-campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.

Summary

The College of Letters, Arts, and Science (LAS) at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Visual Arts from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.

The position is responsible for teaching various courses for Visual Arts; however, exact courses taught will depend on need at the time of hire The courses may be in person or online.
