Salary/Pay Range: $1,300 per credit hour. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Work Location: Determined by course modality: On-campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
The College of Letters, Arts, and Science (LAS) at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Visual Cultures from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
The position is responsible for teaching various courses for Visual Cultures; however, exact courses taught will depend on need at the time of hire The courses may be in person or online.
