R0149011 Lecturer/Teaching Professor, Business Law

The Department of Management at the University of Nevada, Reno, invites applications for a Non-tenure Track, Full-time Lecturer/Teaching Professor. The appointment will begin in January 2026. We are seeking a Business Law professional with excellent communication skills (both in writing and in person), solid professional work experience and a demonstrated record as a dynamic teacher and a good organizational citizen.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate classes, participation in service activities, and professional recognition and development or professional publications. Candidates should be able to teach multiple sections of Legal Environment of Business each academic year and as needed, supervise the recruitment, training, scheduling, and assessment for this and other sections of business law related courses each fall and spring semester.

Opportunities to teach additional courses on-line and in the summer are also available. Candidates for this position must be willing to teach at the UNR main campus morning, afternoon, and evening courses as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.)
  • Substantial work experience as a professional in the field in the last seven years or experience teaching Business Law
