California State University San Marcos invites applications to its pool of part-time lecturers in the Department of Anthropology for the 2026/2027 academic year. Positions may last from one day to a full semester and are filled on an as-needed basis; appointments are contingent on credential review and program needs.
Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in Anthropology; preferred qualifications include a doctorate and at least one year of higher education teaching experience.

Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturerpositions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring.Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. Thisapplicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-neededbasis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool adwill only be good for the current academic year. This pool will beclosed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for thenext academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as itbecomes available by June 15th.
