Position Description

The Department of Social Sciences (School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences) at the University of Washington Tacoma invites applications for part-time lecturer in History with an anticipated start date of December 16, 2026. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching in a diverse and inclusive academic community.

The successful candidate will join our faculty on a part-time; 33 - 66% FTE basis for a six-months during the academic year ( Dec 16- June 15). Reappoinments are contingent upon instruction needs, performance and funding.
