The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISYE) delivers an exceptional, hands-on, and student-focused educational experience that equips both traditional and non-traditional students with the tools and vision to shape the future. Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Industrial and Systems Engineering in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering with a preferred start date of January 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in Industrial and Systems Engineering
  • Service to Dept/College/University/professional community is expected

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

OR

  • A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior related teaching experience at the college level
  • Evidence of implementing innovative and/or research-supported teaching practices
  • Prior related industry experience
  • A PhD degree or the foreign equivalent in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
