Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology seeks a teaching-focused Lecturer in the MMET department to support program delivery on campus. Qualifications require an MS in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Manufacturing Engineering and at least five years of industry

Qualifications

• Education: MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• Experience: 5 years industry experience in mechanical, mechatronics, robotics or manufacturing engineering or similar.
• Position is a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer in MMET.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in one or more areas: mechanics, thermal-fluids, materials, sensors and control systems, robotics, automation, mechatronics, senior design.
• Deliver lectures and laboratory content development and delivery.
• Support department programs with classroom and online formats.
