The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) seeks lecturers to join the Languages and Cultures pool in LAS. Appointments are part-time and semester-by-semester, with courses possibly in person or online. The pool is used to fill temporary, non-tenure track teaching needs in Languages and Cultures.
Qualified applicants may teach various courses; remote teaching may be available under certain conditions. UCCS does not sponsor visas for this position.

$1,300 per credit hour. Compensation willbe commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtimeprovisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Because this appointment is temporary in nature, you will not beeligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided tofaculty under the standard University of Colorado benefits programs. You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave, medical, orretirement benefits. However, you are eligible to accrue sick leaveat 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
Determined by course modality: On-campus,online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be availableunder certain conditions.
The College of Letters, Arts, and Science (LAS) at the Universityof Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain apool of Lecturers in Languages and Cultures from which futureappointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made.Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be madesemester-by-semester.
The position is responsible for teaching various courses forLanguages and Cultures; however, exact courses taught will dependon need at the time of hire The courses may be in person oronline.
