Job summary

University of Baltimore invites applications for a Lecturer in Legal Studies at the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences. This is a full-time, one-year renewable, 9.5-month appointment beginning Fall 2027, with a 4/4 teaching load.

The candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate law-related courses, co-instruct internships, and help launch the LP H BA program, including development and recruitment, while advising UBalt’s mock trial team and supporting prelaw initiatives.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited institution.
• Relevant teaching experience is required.
• Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate law-related courses.
• Ability to teach in both classroom and online formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach all levels of graduate and undergraduate law-related courses.
• Co-instruction and co-supervise law-related internships.
• Assist in implementing the Law, Philosophy, and History (LPH) BA program including development and recruitment.
• Provide faculty advisory support for UBalt’s mock trial team and participate in prelaw activities.
