The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in Business and Public Policy as a lecturer should an opening arise. The pool will remain in place for one year.

Initial appointments are one semester to one year. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent international degree at time of application.
• A minimum of four years in the professional practice in relevant field to the course being taught.
• Professional experience in Operations and Information Technology Management in business, government, or not-for-profit organizations is preferred.
• Higher education teaching experience and/or an advanced degree by start date are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Holding office hours.
• Assigning grades.
• Preparing course materials.
