The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking full-time Lecturers with Advanced Placement Provider (APP) credentials. This position will primarily work clinically at the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) and Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Emergency Rooms.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has 10 full and part-time Faculty APP’s credentialed to work with 88 attending physicians. In addition, the Department Faculty APP’s also work alongside UNM Hospital APP’s in the clinical setting. Emergency Medicine APP’s perform department triage, treat patients in the Pediatric ER and in the resuscitation and trauma room. We provide classroom and clinical education for the UNM SOM PA Students, EM PA Residents as well as medical and pharmacy students. We have identified need of Advanced Placement Providers with expertise in clinical and academic areas of emergency medicine.
