The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department ofEmergency Medicine, is seeking full-time Lecturers with Advanced PlacementProvider (APP) credentials.
This position will primarily work clinically at theUniversity of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) and Sandoval Regional Medical Center(SRMC) Emergency Rooms.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has 10 full and part-time FacultyAPP's credentialed to work with 88 attending physicians. In addition, theDepartment Faculty APP's also work alongside UNM Hospital APP's in the clinicalsetting. Emergency Medicine APP's perform department triage, treat patients inthe Pediatric ER and in the resuscitation and trauma room. We provide classroomand clinical education for the UNM SOM PA Students, EM PA Residents as well asmedical and pharmacy students. We have identified need of Advanced PlacementProviders with expertise in clinical and academic areas of emergency medicine.
