Job description

The Department of Finance at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer. Starting in the Spring 2027 semester, this position is expected to teach Finance courses and engage in student experience enrichment. This position will also have significant service responsibilities leading the Wall Street Scholars program, connecting department faculty with industry partners, and contributing to the academic strategy and operations of the department.

The Department of Finance is one of seven academic units in the Eller College of Management offering undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. It is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, and distinguished faculty. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Finance.
  • Lead the Wall Street Scholars program and connect department faculty and students with industry partners

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master'sdegree in Finance, BusinessAdministration, or a related field.
  • Teachingexperience at the college or university level, including at least one yearof in-person teaching experience.
  • Experienceteaching to various audiences, evidenced by evaluations and/or awards.
  • Must be available toteach in person at the University of Arizona in Tucson Arizona.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Finance, or related field, prior to the start date, OR 5 or more years of professional experience in finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and teaching college classes.
  • Experience leading a student engagement program in an academic department or college.
