This position is intended for faculty members hired to undertake short-term and/or part-time academic work, such as teaching courses for one or two academic terms.
The Department of Architecture at the University of Virginia's School of Architecture is seeking applications for various non-tenure-track instructional Lecturer positions for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
Specialized subject areas may include, but are not limited to: Studio, Seminar, Lecture, Intensive Short Course, Visualization, and Workshop. Qualified candidates may be hired into multiple specialized areas (Undergraduate and/or Graduate Courses). Additional duties may involve organizing guest lectures, course advising, curriculum development/review, student research guidance, grading, and organizing field trips.
