The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy is seeking applicants for one lecturer position in Accounting starting Fall 2027, subject to final budget approval.
The successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to mentor students (undergraduate and master’s students) and undertake significant service to the department.
Bachelors degree plus significant professional experience or Masters degree required in accounting or a related field. Demonstrate an ability and commitment to deliver high-quality teaching in accounting, auditing or taxation. Prior professional work experience in these fields and professional certification (e.g., CPA) are a plus. Successful candidates will be required to participate in Baruch’s “Inclusive Pedagogy” workshop and CUNY’s “Innovative Teaching Academy,” and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in a diverse and inclusive environment. Applicants must be able to teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid) and participate in Zicklin programs offered both on campus and with our global partners.
$92,359- $106,547; salary commensurate with education and experience
