Position Overview – Villano Elementary School is seeking a dynamic, certified elementary educator to serve as a leave replacement teacher for a unique, multi-grade instructional role spanning digital citizenship, STEM, and math intervention. This position is ideal for a versatile teacher who enjoys variety in their instructional day and is excited by hands-on, standards-driven teaching across content areas.

Responsibilities

• Teach Digital Citizenship curriculum to students in grades 4-6, fostering safe, responsible, and informed technology use
• Deliver sixth grade STEM Cycle Course, engaging students in inquiry-based, hands-on learning aligned to NJ Student Learning Standards
• Provide targeted math intervention support to fourth and fifth grade students, using data to identify skill gaps and drive small-group and individualized instruction
• Monitor student progress using school-based data platforms and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, the instructional team, and building administration to ensure continuity of instruction and alignment with building-wide goals
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and required documentation
• Communicate professionally and regularly with families regarding student progress
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Elementary Certification
