Job summary

Franklin Township School District, Claremont Elementary School – Franklin Park, NJ, is seeking a Leave Replacement, Special Education Elementary Teacher for Sep 2026 to Dec 2026. The role requires NJ K‑6 Elementary and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certifications and experience with emotionally/behaviorally challenged students.

Qualifications

• NJ Certification: K‑6 Elementary Certificate and Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped.
• Experience with students with emotional/behavioral challenges and learning differences.
• Strong teaching skills and dedication to teach in a self-contained classroom for Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Compliance with NJ FIRST Act and successful Criminal History Clearance.
