Responsibilities

• Confer with and support teachers in planning strategies, adapting teaching practices and making modifications that will assist children in meeting standards.
• Conduct regular classroom visits to observe and model appropriate strategies and interventions.
• Observe, provide feedback, and recommend strategies, classroom modifications, and adaptive materials and equipment.
• Coordinate meetings for collaborative planning among professionals and families.
• Assist teachers with strategies for involving and educating families.
• Gather data related to student performance from interviews and sources such as parents, staff, and social service agencies.
• Generate written professional reports.
• Participate in CST meetings to determine eligibility, programs, and IEP development.
