Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold NJ State Certification as Elementary Teacher and NJ State Certification as Special Education Teacher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related discipline.
• Masters degree in related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends and participates in IEP meetings.
• Facilitates implementation of IEP for students.
• Maintains accurate records of student progress and outcomes.
• Develops lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Conducts ongoing assessment and adapts instruction to student needs.
• Collaborates with child study team and grade-level colleagues.
• Disseminates information to parents and administration regarding progress.
