Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Leave of Absence & Benefits Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in supporting our employees and managers through leave of absence processes and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for helping others navigate complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Leave of Absence (LOA) Coordination:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding LOA status and updates.
  • Assist in coordinating return-to-work plans and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with LOA-related reporting and compliance.

Benefits Administration:

  • Support employees with questions and needs related to the benefits management system.
  • Assist with auditing benefits data and ensuring accuracy across systems.
  • Help with benefits integrations and system updates as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in HR, benefits administration, or leave coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with HRIS or benefits management systems is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • On-site office position in Springfield, MA.
  • 20 hours per week — no weekends required.

Compensation: $20.00/hour, BOE
