Qualifications

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues on leave.
  • Maintain regular communication with colleagues on leave.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, and management on leave administration and RTW.
  • Monitor applicable leave laws and implement policy changes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential leave records.
  • Generate reports on leave trends and compliance metrics.

Job description

  • Evaluate and process requests for various types of leave, including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, and state paid benefit programs
  • Provide guidance to colleagues regarding leave policies, procedures, rights, and state paid benefit programs
  • Review and audit return-to-work processes and transitional programs for compliance
  • Coordinate processes with external vendors and internal business units
  • Review medical documentation and required paperwork for legal compliance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues on leave
  • Maintain regular communication with colleagues on leave
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, and management on leave administration and return-to-work processes
  • Monitor federal, state, and local leave laws and implement necessary policy changes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential leave records
  • Generate reports on leave trends, usage, and compliance metrics for management
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred
  • Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and company policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Time management
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite
