Rock House Farms LLC is seeking a sewing specialist to produce leather flatwork for upholstered furniture. The role requires precise stitching, matching patterns, and attention to quality standards.

The candidate will adjust sewing machines for different leather materials, maintain a tidy workspace, and follow all safety policies while collaborating with the production team to meet targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous sewing experience a plus.
• Experience with leather is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established sewing standards including: ½ seams, sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern, and no drop stitches.
• Adjust machines to stitch various leather materials.
• Reads and follows instructions to sew specs and notes provided.
• Maintains equipment and work area in an orderly manner.
• Able to sew flatwork for different product, top stitch and welt.
• Must be able to work with different types of sewing machines.
• Must be able to work off production work ticket to sew leather to request.
• Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Adjust machines to stitch various leather materials
• Good hand-eye coordination, concentration skills, and a demonstrated attention to detail
• Reads and follows instructions to sew specs and notes provided
• Maintains equipment and work area in an orderly manner
• Able to sew Flatwork for different product, top stitch and welt
• Must be able to work with different types of sewing machines
• Must be able to work off production work ticket to sew leather to request
• Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
