Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle residency inquiries via phone and in person, maintaining detailed records.
  • Conduct property tours, greet prospective residents, process applications and deposits, and follow up with applicants.
  • Provide and explain application materials to prospects.
  • Screen, interview, and notify applicants of acceptance or denial, adhering to company policies and fair housing laws.
  • Perform marketing surveys and recommend strategies based on findings.
  • Create promotional flyers and media content to attract residents.
  • Assist the Property Manager in various property operations, receiving ongoing training across different responsibilities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the office, model units, and common areas; inspect move-outs and vacancies.
  • Build community contacts with local employers and real estate agencies as part of outreach efforts.
  • Handle daily financial deposits securely.
  • Report property incidents, damages, or injuries promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least two years of progressive sales or leasing experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Proven ability to produce promotional materials effectively.
  • Excellent courtesy, tact, and poise in public interactions.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and related regulations.
