Job Title: Leasing Specialist Reports To: Community Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Leasing Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Generate interest in available units by creatively showcasing community features and benefits.
- Greet, qualify, and tour prospective residents.
- Confidently present value propositions to prospects and close the lease.
- Manage the entire leasing process, including applications, screenings, and lease signings.
- Partner with property management team members to ensure great curb appeal and resident experience.
- Work with leadership team to develop and implement innovative leasing and marketing strategies.
- Assist with advertising campaigns, online listings, and social media outreach to drive traffic.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, bringing forward fresh ideas to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide coverage and consistent leasing service.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of leasing or sales experience preferred.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed leasing or sales goals.
- Strong sales and closing skills, with a track record of high performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Creative thinker who can adapt strategies to connect with a wide range of prospects.
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) a plus.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance standards a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented.

- Persistent and willing to chase down leads.
- Availability on evenings and weekends may be necessary to meet leasing demand.
Compensation
Compensation: $11-$15/hour, plus bonus potential for meeting leasing goals.
