This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Tallahassee, which offers over 700 miles of trails, a subtropical climate, and opportunities to explore Florida’s history, commercial growth, and family attractions. Tallahassee is home to Florida State University and Florida A&M University, and is ranked among the top ten best places to live in Florida.

As a Leasing Specialist, you are the first point of contact for prospects and residents. This role is more than a job; it’s a career. You understand that for residents, it’s not just an apartment, but their home. You enjoy engaging with diverse people and creating memorable experiences.

A Leasing Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, following up on leads, and closing lease agreements. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, accountable, and driven by curiosity to learn, lead, and grow.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.
  • Lease apartments by building relationships and highlighting community benefits.
  • Consistently close deals via phone, email, and in person.
  • Follow up effectively to generate leads.
  • Create and execute promotional campaigns, including online advertising, direct marketing, social media, and resident events.
  • Support occupancy goals by renewing leases.
  • Maintain accurate resident files.
  • Weekend availability as needed.
