Leasing Specialist | The Collier Companies

This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Ocala, an area known for horse farms, the Ocala National Forest, natural springs, and attractions like Silver Springs and the World Equestrian Center. Ocala offers many natural and tourist experiences.

As a Leasing Specialist, you are the first person prospects and residents meet. It’s more than a job; it’s a career. You understand that for residents, it’s not just an apartment, but their home. You love engaging with diverse people and creating memorable experiences.

The Leasing Specialist is responsible for creating positive experiences for potential residents, following up on leads, and closing lease agreements. The role requires goal orientation, personal accountability, and a drive to succeed through curiosity, leadership, and growth.

Qualifications

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
  • Lease apartments by building relationships and showcasing benefits.
  • Consistently close deals via phone, email, and in person, becoming an expert on the property and neighborhood.
  • Follow up effectively to generate leads.
  • Create and implement promotional programs, including online advertising, direct marketing, social media outreach, and resident events.
  • Help maintain occupancy levels through lease renewals.
  • Maintain accurate resident files.
  • Work weekends as needed.
